Blagoevgrad Regional Center

The Regional Center for Social Entrepreneurship Support in Blagoevgrad is part of a network of a total of 6 centers located in each of the regions of the country. The so-called Focus points are created by project 
P41 “Development of the social economy”  of Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

For the one year of existence of the Blagoevgrad Focus Point, the number of registered social enterprises on the territory of the Southwest Planning Region has grown many times and they are now 30.There are dozens of established partnerships, and countless opportunities for development. At the national level, after the start of the “Development of the Social Economy” project, a double growth of social enterprises registered in the special Register is reported, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy reports.

Among the main tasks that the experts from the center in Blagoevgrad set for themselves in the future is promoting the creation of networks and conducting trainings, initiatives and partnerships to include social entrepreneurs in the social and civil dialogue with state institutions, local authorities and local communities.
